An essential Smoove purchase

Smoove knows how to do a remix; his rework of Steve Winwood's I'm a Man is an immense, guaranteed to get your arse moving, b-boy classic that I listen to all the time. So no surprise that I'd been looking forward to getting my hands on his latest album, the aptly named "First Class". Whilst some of the tracks have been knocking about for a while, the album was only officially released last month and has a whole load of other tunes on it. It's an awesome collection of quality remixes and I can't recommend it enough (please note I am not on a commission lol, it's just damn good).

Highly recommended :)

Call Up To Heaven

Animal

I like animals. I like music. I like animals and music.

C@ in the H@ does good stuff with swing. Here we have an electro swing dubstep swingstep thing:

Swing Sound of '88

Next up are Count Yates and Marsha Gee, who unfortunately I know bugger all about but stumbled upon recently and made me think of doing this animal themed post. :P Plus the tunes made me chuckle and someone needs to go play with them...

Chimpanzee

Peanut Duck

Obvious one to put in now... Yup it's The Beatles.

I Am The Walrus

And finally, because in reality we're just animals with guns and money, here's one of my all time favourite tracks; the Smoove remix of Steve Winwood's immense...

I'm a Man

Ah bugger it, one for the road... There's only one Animal!

Mahna Mahna

I'm a man

Smoove's epic remix of the Spencer Davis Group's utterly legendary....

I'm a man
