I do like a bit of Florence and the Machine, always had a thing for that kind of vocal, but one thing I didn't really like was their cover of  You Got the Love. It broke the rule: Thou shalt not fuck with Candi Staton. Like most people with any taste, it's one of my all time favourite tracks and Florence's version was just a bit lifeless in comparison.

However, a few days ago I stumbled across this remix of Florence's version by Fukuyama. And I like it... a lot. Makes for a much more interesting version, as it does something properly different with the tune  going on a  funky house disco trip. Nicely done chaps, nicely done indeed.

The original could be from any time in like the last 70 years, it's got that old school swing thing going on, but it's actually from 1988.
